Boat Shoe Triangle (AKA the center of the universe)
What: Three of my favorite hunting spots that are all within a stone’s throw of each other. All three have the perfect formula for a good time: Attractive Crowd + Low Key Setting + Minimal waiting. Whenever you don’t know where to go, this trifecta should be your default.
Where: West 4th & West 10th in the West Village.
When to go: Any night of the week, but Thursdays are the best followed by weekend nights.
About Wilfie and Nell: (228 W. 4th, West Village) Decorated like a British gastropub, this has been a top choice of mine since I moved to New York. Although it’s yuppie heavy, it has plenty of foreigners if accents are your thing.  Side note: If you do get hungry, you must try the Scottish egg.
About Diablo Royale: (189 W. 10th St., West Village) This restaurant has the smallest bar of the three, however, it is all about quality over quantity. If you want to make it a big night, try the Ricky (their signature drink) made up of half margarita, half beer, half fun.
About The Windsor: (234 W. 4th St., West Village) My personal favorite, this “sports” bar has great music and is always packed to the brim with gems. And ladies, expect the ratio to be in your favor.
